The pre-game preparation time for the third game was unusually long, and someone in Navic’s player area was starting to get restless.
Top laner Jiang Yin, the one with the thickest skin, sprawled back in his chair and started singing straight into the mic, completely unconcerned that his three-notes-out-of-tune voice might drive his teammates into depression:
“I admit it was all Yue’s fault— The night was too beautiful, and you were too gentle…”
“Cut it out already—I'm begging you!”
The jungler next door, Pei Xingyi, was the first to lose his patience, wearing the exact expression of an old man on the subway glaring at a phone. “You’ve already sung our bot lane into two funeral faces!!”
The bot lane duo who had been called out merely lifted their eyelids slightly, their faces as still as ancient wells. They’d long been used to their teammates messing with their mentality—so used to it that they couldn’t even be bothered to reply.
Especially Zou Jiayou. Compared to the Mid-Season tournament, his temperament had matured a lot. When called out, he only glanced sideways at Jiang Yin. With sword-sharp brows, bright eyes, and a strikingly angular profile, he looked every bit like the cold, handsome male lead straight out of an esports drama.
Zou Jiayou also cared a lot about maintaining his image. Wherever he went, he kept up that cool-guy persona—though every once in a while, he’d break character and feel the urge to secretly assassinate his own idiot teammates…like right now.
Jiang Yin continued, “They already look like funeral faces. Pitiful, like mutes. My suggestion is if you’ve got extra mouths you don’t need, you might as well donate them to someone who does—”
Zou Jiayou’s expression didn’t change. His thin lips parted slightly. “Scram.”
Their support Bian Cheng cooperated perfectly, quietly raising two middle fingers at Jiang Yin under the table. Unfortunately, with four seats between them, it was hard to tell who exactly the rude gesture was meant for.
“Alright, stop messing around.”
Meng Xiyue interrupted with a helpless laugh. Honestly, he was rather pleased to see his teammates still this lively even at a derby match—but… they might have a little too much energy.
He adjusted his headset, then looked toward the constantly buzzing audience. “Why hasn’t it started yet? What are they talking about out there?”
Zou Jiayou, who had the best eyesight, never acted arrogant in front of the captain. Hearing that, he obediently lifted his gaze to look outside—but couldn’t see much. Their competition area was far from the audience, and several layers of soundproof glass separated them. There was no way to tell what the crowd was so excited about.
“Can’t see…” Zou Jiayou frowned, then turned to the referee behind them. “Could you tell us what’s going on?”
The referee nodded, asked a few questions through the walkie-talkie used by staff, then answered while suppressing a smile: “They’re celebrating God Yue’s return to the stage. The fans are extremely excited. And—”
The first half wasn’t surprising. Not only the fans were excited—the players themselves were too. Zou Jiayou felt a stir in his chest and immediately asked, “And what?”
“Some other players came to cheer you on. They’re in the VIP section,” the referee said.
“…Who?”
Meng Xiyue blinked in surprise. That really was unexpected.
——
“Don’t be shy—!!! Come on, come on, Wind, say hi to everyone!!”
Chao Mi jeered excitedly, clearly enjoying the chaos. “The camera already caught you! There’s no point hiding—!!”
The broadcast director was just as thrilled. Multiple cameras were aimed straight at the audience area, practically shoving the lens into Sui Ning’s face.
As a public figure, it wasn’t the first time he’d been filmed up close. But seeing a close-up of his own face rotating 360 across the arena’s massive screen was still incredibly embarrassing. His face flushed red, and he instinctively raised the light sign in his hand to cover his face. The support slogan on it—and the blinking little moon—looked especially dazzling under the arena lights.
The fans instantly erupted like they’d been injected with adrenaline.
“AAAAHHHH—Feng-bao!!!!”
“Holy shit, Wind!!”
“Winnnd—! I’m your fan!!”
“Wait, why is Wind holding the same sign as me?? If you round it up, that means he’s holding me!!”
“Yue, your cabbage is watching you from the audience!!! You better perform well this game!!”
“One ticket and I get to see two husbands in one match—does this kind of deal actually exist?!!”
Screams and wild comments overlapped everywhere. Sui Ning’s ears turned red from hearing them, and he wished he could hide completely behind the sign—but the crowd showed no signs of calming down.
Left with no choice, he tried to hide beside Ji Yunyu. The camera chased after him relentlessly, capturing the moment he burrowed into Ji Yunyu’s arms. Ji Yunyu didn’t think anything of it; he even indulgently used his jacket to cover Sui Ning’s face—
“—???!!!”
The CP fans in the arena widened their eyes, practically drooling. They gulped loudly before shouting with mock ferocity: “Wind!! What’s with you hugging Cloud in public like that?!”
“Publicly funded dating? You two aren’t even pretending anymore, huh?!”
“If this isn’t real, what is?!”
“Look at how naturally Cloud just scooped him into his arms—do you think you can reach that level without practicing forty-eight hours a day?!”
“Waaaah, Feng-bao can be this clingy? My face is turning yellow from watching, QAQ!”
The auntie-like grins of fans who were shipping them like crazy were impossible to suppress. Sure, many male players weren’t very mindful of personal space with teammates in public… but the way these two hugged each other felt far too natural. Who would believe they’d never practiced in private?
Damn it—Cloud Follows the Wind is such a perfect ship!!
“More! Hurry up, give us more! There are no outsiders here!”
“Feng-bao, my dear husband! You must stay happily together with my other husband!”
“Covering his face with a jacket—what kind of skill is that? If you’ve got the guts, pull him into your arms and kiss him! I promise I won’t look!!”
“Hehehe… tonight’s Little Emperor Mosquito material secured…”
“Sis in front, the arena’s so dark I almost tripped over your underwear on my way back from the restroom! Send me the txt or I won’t forgive you!”
The broadcast director was also a clever one. The camera lingered on Sui Ning and Ji Yunyu for quite a while before finally zooming out, bringing the entire PNG team into frame.
And when the commentators on the casting desk saw the support items the PNG members were holding, they completely lost it.
“Hahahahaha!” Chao Mi laughed so hard he practically doubled over. “What’s going on here? Why are they holding support gear for both HTG and Navic? I thought PNG came today to cheer for one particular team—but apparently not! The two teams are fighting on stage, and now PNG is fighting internally too?!”
Qing Ci couldn’t help laughing either. “I didn’t expect the PNG players to each support different teams and different players! I just counted—among the five starting members, three support Navic and two support HTG. The coach supports neither side, while the three assistant coaches in the back row split 1–2. In the end, the votes are perfectly balanced at 4:4!”
Fans: ???
“So this is the vote-balancing ability of the winners’ bracket #1???”
“LMAO what kind of imperial power-balancing strategy is this? Chen Chen really mastered the art of political equilibrium!”
“Honestly, I thought PNG came to cheer for Navic—but apparently not… Does that mean Yue got let down again and again?”
“Not really, Feng-bao even wore a headpiece and waved a light sign for Yue!”
“But… he waved it from inside Cloud’s arms…”
“??? Comrade, please immediately stop imagining weird Shura-field scenarios!!”
Aside from a few multi-ship-loving CP fans with strange tastes, most of the crowd was bubbling with delight. Some even thought they’d gotten heatstroke while lining up under the sun and were hallucinating—
After all, people naturally admire strength. PNG usually kept a low profile… well, not that low, but they were undeniably hardworking and strong. Since the start of the Summer Split they hadn’t had a single scandal, so among the HTG and Navic fans present, quite a few were actually dual fans of PNG.
“Watching my main team play live together with my other main team, this feels amazing—seriously amazing!!”
“Feng-bao’s looks are definitely top-tier in the esports scene, right? Even with this death-close camera and the giant screen, his face has zero flaws.”
“He looks flawless in real life, too. Look at the photo I just secretly took—he’s so pale it’s like he’s glowing…”
“Waaah Cloud, my jungle king turtle, how does he look even more handsome in person than in edited photos QAQ?”
Ji Yunyu, whose ears were sharp enough to catch that: …? Jungle king turtle?
Why, thank you very much.
“No one praising Son Xuxu? No one praising son Xuxu? Is there no justice left in the world?”
“Praise? Easy! His idiot attribute is performing consistently stable today, end of report!”
“Brother Su looks so cold and aloof… slurp slurp—”
“Xiao Ye, Xiao Ye, Xiao Ye!! No way, I refuse to believe there’s still someone who can’t appreciate Myerii’s looks!”
“Looks…?? Uh… Mye, he, um… he’s a good person.”
Wei Ye, who happened to overhear: ???
Are you serious? He’s really going to start a riot.
“I’m so happy to be sitting this close to everyone from PNG, I’m literally crying! Before this, they were always on stage while I was in the audience…”
“He waved at me just now—AAAAAH!!”
“Hehe… I just shouted ‘Feng-bao I like you so much,’ and Feng-bao turned around and smiled at me… heheh.”
But the most smug people were the few HTG fans sitting in the back row. “What’s so special about that? I even insulted them to their faces just now!!” —specifically saying their coach’s game understanding was worse than a Bronze player’s…
Other fans: ??
Chen Chen: Why are you so proud of that? Are you sick?
“Honestly, I really want to know what God Yue is feeling right now!”
After laughing for quite a while, Chao Ni spoke first, his tone full of teasing. “At the beginning of the year, the little cabbage he took a liking to is now sitting in the audience wearing another team’s jersey and cheering for him!”
Qing Ci thought for a moment, then laughed so hard his whole body shook. “Hahaha, even though it’s a total Shura field, I think God Yue is probably still happy!”
For some reason, Meng Xiyue on stage suddenly seemed to have heard their discussion. He deliberately waved in the direction of PNG’s VIP section.
The lighting below the stage was dim and the distance was far. Meng Xiyue couldn’t make out each individual face in the audience—but he recognized the bright glow of his own support light sign.
The fans noticed the gesture and instantly turned red-faced, screaming “AAAAAAH” all over again.
——
“PNG came to watch the match.”
The referee told Meng Xiyue. “Wind is cheering for you.”
“Got it.” Meng Xiyue nodded in understanding, a gentle smile unconsciously curling at the corner of his lips.
After thinking for a moment, he asked, “Can I greet him?”
“You can. But can you even tell where he is?” the referee asked curiously. From his angle, all he could see was a massive crowd—there was no way to distinguish anyone.
Meng Xiyue didn’t answer. He simply waved toward the VIP section. He didn’t quite know how to explain his action—but he believed Sui Ning must feel the same. Sui Ning would definitely know that he was looking at him.
“It’s strange.”
Meng Xiyue couldn’t help laughing at his own certainty. “I always feel like there’s a special kind of tacit understanding between Wind and me.”
As soon as he said that, the four little captain-worshippers around him immediately became unhappy.
“Ah yes, yes, everything you say is right,” Jiang Yin began speaking in a sarcastic tone. “You’ve never even met the guy in person and already have ‘tacit understanding.’ What does that make us old guys who’ve played with you for years?”
Zou Jiayou also frowned. “Wind will never leave PNG.”
The most displeased of all was Pei Xingyi. He puffed up his cheeks, his pout so big it could practically hang a trophy from it, and complained angrily: “Does someone here even remember which team he’s the captain of? I remember this team doesn’t start with a ‘P,’ right? It’s something like an ‘N,’ isn’t it?!”
“…My mistake.”
Meng Xiyue surrendered with a helpless laugh. “Please forgive this insolent mid laner. Let’s win the match together, alright?”
Pei Xingyi: “Hmph—!!”
The referee: “Pff… ahem! Players, please prepare. Game three will begin shortly.”
Everyone immediately dropped the joking mood.
——
As Game Three began, Chen Chen also switched into professional mode. While watching the BP (ban–pick) phase, he quietly gave his teammates a mini lesson. “Putting aside the symbolic importance of Cpyhc’s return and things like warming up his hands, just looking at the players themselves—this substitution is actually very clever. Navic doesn’t want to give HTG time to react. They want to push forward and take the win in one go.”
Lin Zhaoxu instantly felt like he’d missed a whole class. His confused eyebrows shot up. “Huh? Why? How can you tell?”
“Didn’t I say earlier that HTG’s way to break the game open was through the top lane? Free Guesz!”
Chen Chen explained patiently. “If they didn’t switch players, Tang Yu would definitely ban tank heroes in the top lane this game. Not just any tank either—he’d need the kind that’s annoying in lane, has sustain, doesn’t collapse easily, can still be useful even when behind, and can also synergize with Fiw’s hero pool. There aren’t many top-lane heroes like that. Three bans in the first round would be enough to take them all out.”
“With those three bans, not only would Guesz be freed up, but Fiw’s playstyle in mid would also be affected. Given the intensity of HPL matches, back in the Spring Split Fiw was basically ‘unusable.’ By summer, he’d only managed to practice three or four heroes.”
Chen Chen changed tone slightly. “But Coach Panpan is… clearly a little better than that turtle grandson. Meng Xiyue’s hero pool is something Fiw simply can’t compare to. Once he’s subbed in, all of Navic’s strategies can open up. Change the mid lane and the entire team’s style changes with it! The plan Tang Yu originally had—breaking through the top lane—no longer works.”
Pull one thread, and the whole body moves. The importance of mid lane was obvious. Among coaches there was even a saying: in the current meta, mid lane is the team’s main artery. If you find a good talent, you must take great care of them. Suggestions like Chen Chen’s—throwing a new player straight into the deep end right after leaving Donghai—should be dragged out and burned… well, the rest wasn’t important.
“The important thing is that the shortcut HTG traded a game loss to obtain is now useless. They can only face Navic head-on again.”
Chen Chen tried hard not to look too pleased with himself, but he could easily imagine Tang Yu’s current mood.
Completely bald with stress.
As HTG’s coach, how could Tang Yu not know Meng Xiyue? Not only did he know him—he knew him so thoroughly it couldn’t get any deeper. At one point he’d even fallen asleep watching Meng Xiyue’s match recordings every night. That was why his temples were throbbing with pain now. How did HTG get the title of eternal runner-up? Because Meng Xiyue beat them into it.
So now what? Still target top lane? Or shift to targeting mid? But if they do that, will Navic have some new strategy ready?
Tang Yu: Annoying. I’m so damn annoyed!!
——
In the end, with no better option, Tang Yu did what he used to do whenever facing Navic: ban mid with the pattern “two mages + one flexible pick.” He banned Phantom Trickster and Shadowmoon Gun, then added Soul-Sealing Blade Demon to reinforce the top lane.
[This BP feels like the Spring Split all over again.]
[The flavor is exactly right. My youth has returned!!]
[The classic fixed bans are back~ No wonder people say Crispy Duck and Wind have some kind of inheritance relationship.]
The viewers were both excited and expectant, and Navic didn’t disappoint them.
In his first game back in the main stage, Meng Xiyue looked extremely at ease.
After his signature heroes were banned, he picked the mage-core hero Astromancer Prophet for mid lane, hoping to reduce the late-game teamfight damage pressure on Zou Jiayou. At the same time, Coach Panpan drafted Void Devourer for their jungler to stabilize the early game, while top and support filled in with defensive synergy picks.
“The early and mid game will mainly rely on the strength of top, jungle, and support,” Chen Chen said with a frown. “Both carries will develop a bit slowly, but it won’t matter.”
“This lineup… Navic is extremely strong in late-game teamfights. Prophet’s ultimate revival completely counters HTG’s double-assassin engage. It’ll be very hard for HTG to instantly kill the carries.”
But this wasn’t what Chen Chen most wanted to see. Astromancer Prophet didn’t require high mechanical input. The combo was basically just Q–E–Q plus a few basic attacks, and its damage mostly came from stacking magic power through items. Even someone like him—a so-called “elderly esports player”—could play it.
As a coach, what Chen Chen really wanted to know was: Could Meng Xiyue still properly use heroes like Shadowmoon Spear, which required extremely high APM, sometimes peaking above 300?
He’d even stopped insulting Tang Yu—he just wanted HTG to hurry up and let those heroes through so he could see the results.
Sui Ning didn’t respond. He simply watched the game on the screen silently.
For Meng Xiyue, Astomancer Prophet posed no difficulty at all. Instead, it was Feng Yi who had taken the stronger laning hero Electromancer, yet was being chased down and beaten by the early-game-weaker Prophet.
After observing only a few waves of minions, Sui Ning concluded: “He’s played a lot of training matches.”
“Meng Xiyue? What makes you say that?” Chen Chen froze for a moment, curious to hear his own mid laner’s opinion.
Sui Ning replied, “Compared to his Spring Split footage, his movement habits are hidden better now, and his understanding of the minion waves has deepened. Those two things aren’t something you can improve through theory alone. He must be learning from strong opponents—and then constantly practicing in scrims and custom games to refine it.”
After saying that, Sui Ning hesitated slightly.
From his experience laning against mid players everywhere, he honestly couldn’t think of anyone in the HPL who currently did those things better than Meng Xiyue. So who exactly had Meng Xiyue been learning from?
Chen Chen didn’t say anything. His gaze silently drifted toward Sui Ning.
Sui Ning: …
It can’t be me, right?
Did the gossip somehow circle back and land on my own head?
Chen Chen cleared his throat. “Don’t you review his matches a lot, too? And he watches yours. That’s perfectly normal.”
Sui Ning fell silent for a moment before replying as if nothing was unusual. “With the broadcast’s god-view we can’t see Xiyue’s player interface, so there’s not much more we can tell.”
Most pro players, just to keep their hands warm, constantly spam-click the ground with their mouse even when nothing is happening. If they could see Meng Xiyue’s first-person view, they’d be able to judge far more information just from where his cursor moved.
“But Navic shouldn’t have much trouble this game,” Sui Ning added. “Their late game is definitely strong. It just depends on whether HTG’s double-assassin mid–jungle can create momentum in the early and mid game.”
Chen Chen nodded.
Just as they expected, at the fifteen-minute mark HTG’s mid–jungle assassins made the first move toward the bottom lane, attempting a four-man dive on two.
But during matches Navic’s support Bian Cheng turned into the ultimate loudspeaker. The moment he judged that B was ganking bot, he started blaring in Navic’s team comms like an air-raid siren—beep beep beep nonstop—so loudly that Zou Jiayou couldn’t ignore it even if he wanted to.
Because of that warning, Navic’s bot duo had already set up their formation when HTG arrived. Pei Xingyi circled through the jungle brush to the river to join Meng Xiyue, the four players maintaining a distance where they could cover each other in pairs at any moment.
At this point HTG’s chance of catching someone was already slim, but Qu Feiying was desperate to break the stalemate. He still called his teammates to try to keep Navic’s marksman Bai Yuan locked down.
“Too bad—that’s Lime!!”
The commentator Qing Ci sighed in regret. “Li’s reactions are just too fast! HTG tried to engage on him—Breathe opened with an R–Flash, but Li sidestepped it instantly. He didn’t even have to use Flash! And Li still has his ultimate in hand to avoid damage! Meanwhile, Cpyhc is already arriving from the river. With Prophet’s ultimate ready for support, HTG has absolutely no chance in this fight!”
Not only no chance—they might even lose massive tempo.
Navic wasn’t some clay statue waiting to be slaughtered. Did HTG think they could just come to bot lane whenever they pleased and leave whenever they wanted?
Zou Jiayou had no intention of indulging them. The Flash he’d saved earlier finally came in handy—his marksman instantly flashed onto Qu Feiying’s face, unleashing blade-like feathers with his ultimate and then recalling them with E, dealing massive burst damage and applying a root.
[Nv_Lime (White Bird) has slain HTG_Viy (Shadow of Vengeance)!]
The announcement triggered thunderous applause throughout the arena, wave after wave of cheering rising from the crowd.
Cheng Su was so absorbed he only reacted afterward, immediately turning to stare intensely at Lin Zhaoxu.
“Can your White Bird do that?”
Lin Zhaoxu: “…My friend, please don’t step on me like that, okay?”
How many marksmen in the world would throw away their Flash and survival ultimate like they were worthless trash? If you weren’t absolutely confident in your mechanics, awareness, and positioning, who would dare play like that?
And it wasn’t over yet. Zou Jiayou’s reckless initiation made Meng Xiyue both exasperated and amused, leaving him no choice but to cover him as best he could. Meanwhile Bian Cheng was completely used to his marksman pushing the limits of cardiovascular endurance—he continued blasting HTG’s cooldown timers like a loudspeaker while charging into the fight alongside Zou Jiayou.
In the end, HTG paid dearly for this poorly timed gank: two deaths, four Flashes, and three ultimates burned. That also left them at a huge disadvantage in the upcoming dragon fight.
At 21 minutes, HTG’s composition gradually began to show signs of decline, making them extremely cautious about whether to start a teamfight. At 23 minutes, Navic secured their third dragon, extending their gold lead to nearly 3,000. For a late-game composition, that kind of lead usually meant victory was within reach.
Neither side found a good opportunity to start Baron. The two teams kept skirmishing around the jungle, but no further kills occurred.
Then Yu Ze, HTG’s so-called “God of Comebacks,” stepped up yet again. Using a timing gap, he successfully engaged on Zou Jiayou, who had no ultimate and no Flash. His teammates immediately pounced like hungry wolves.
The match dragged on until 27 and a half minutes. The commentators’ voices rose sharply. “Breathe caught Lime—!! Breathe does it again! This engage is absolutely critical—can they kill him?!”
But a despair-inducing golden light suddenly fell onto Zou Jiayou.
“God Yue still has his ultimate! That ult was saved specifically for Li!!”
Chao Mi shouted in astonishment. “Navic’s composition has completely come online—this is an iron fortress! HTG’s two assassins have practically dulled their blades, and they still can’t cut through!!”
“Even as spectators we can’t help but worry for HTG—how on earth can they break through Navic’s defense?!”
Down in the audience, Chen Chen was pondering the same question.
But up on stage, HTG’s players were nowhere near as calm as he was. They had thought they’d glimpsed a chance to turn the game around, only to discover that the enemy seemed completely unfazed by their desperate counterattack. By the end, Yu Ze even started to suspect that Zou Jiayou had intentionally been caught by his ultimate.
Facing such a familiar opponent, HTG’s confidence was no longer as unshakable as before.
Was there really still hope of turning this around?
After losing to PNG, then losing again to Navic, the consecutive blows had begun to shake their belief in themselves.
And that tiny crack in confidence manifested in-game as half a second of hesitation whenever opportunities appeared… and the small openings they unknowingly exposed.
Navic never let chances to kill the game slip away.
At 29 minutes, Bian Cheng initiated a perfect teamfight. Navic executed a beautiful 0-for-4, with Zou Jiayou claiming a quadra kill and closing out the match in one decisive push.
“2–1, Navic reach match point! Congratulations to Navic!”
“Li’s final quadra kill was incredible—he dodged almost every skill that could be dodged! His form lately has been absolutely insane!!”
Qing Ci enthusiastically praised the players’ performances one by one, then frowned slightly with concern. “On the other hand, HTG looked extremely messy in the last two fights. It feels like something went wrong with the entire team’s performance toward the end.”
“Yes, Breathe did manage to start a good teamfight, but it wasn’t enough. By then, HTG’s composition had already passed its peak.”
Chao Mi said, “The most critical thing now is the players’ mindset. I hope they can adjust properly—there’s still a chance in the next two games!”
But whether Zou Jiayou’s quadra kill had been the final straw was unclear. In the decisive game, HTG completely underperformed.
Meng Xiyue picked his signature Phantom Trickster, but hadn’t even had a chance to shine. In just seven minutes, Navic’s bottom lane had already reported continuous victories, and by ten minutes Zou Jiayou was 4/0, carrying his team as if he could single-handedly boost all four teammates’ ranks.
Lin Zhaoxu felt a pang of sympathy. “I understand Style’s mood right now—it’s that ultimate frustration: you can’t win lane, you can’t win teamfights, and even in 1v1s you get humiliated. Ugh… that’s why Lime has no friends…”
Cheng Su: “Ha, impossible. He definitely has lots of friends.”
Lin Zhaoxu: “?”
Cheng Su: “Among his friends, he probably has enough supports to swap out a new one every day, nonstop for years. Haha.”
Lin Zhaoxu: “…Why do you have to be so sarcastic? Figure out whose support you are first, thank you.”
At 22 minutes, HTG tried to take the dragon but was caught by Navic. A full-on teamfight broke out, and Meng Xiyue scored a triple kill.
Even with the triple, he felt slightly helpless. “I didn’t expect I’d have a day where I could just win by lying down.”
At this point, the team’s advantage was enormous; the kills were just icing on the cake.
Zou Jiayou curled the corner of his lips in pride.
Finally, at 25:13, Navic ended the match with a massive lead.
[Navic 3:1 HTG]
[WINNER — Natus Vincere!]
The scoreboard on the big screen changed, and the fans froze, stunned for several seconds before realizing—Navic had made it to the finals?!
We’re in the finals??
From almost missing the playoffs, to being eliminated in the fourth round, to the revival matches where they defeated GEN and HTG—
“Congratulations to Navic! You’ve officially ‘resurrected’!!!”
Chao Mi shouted with excitement: “This summer, Navic’s journey has been full of twists and turns, truly legendary! They once fell to the very bottom, almost missing the playoffs for the first time in team history! Even after reaching the playoffs and facing the towering strength of top teams, ending up in the losers’ bracket, they never gave up! Navic’s young players held the pressure and were reborn from the brink!”
“Natus Vincere—they will be the first team to head to the Capital Stadium, competing with PNG for the championship trophy!!”
Qing Ci took a deep breath. “Coincidentally, today the PNG players are here in the arena as well…”
“I’d like to ask a question on behalf of Navic’s fans.”
The big screen focused on Qing Ci. He raised his right index finger, pointing straight at the camera, and asked clearly and deliberately:
“PNG, your opponents have returned from the depths of hell! Are you ready!!”
The commentators’ question echoed throughout the stadium, and the clever director immediately switched the camera to Sui Ning.
Sui Ning smiled brightly and gently nodded at the camera.
