Cheng Su gave up first blood at lightning speed at the start, which in fact was to take the hit for Lin Zhaoxu.
This game, the opponent’s support Bian Cheng had swapped to the highly aggressive summoner spells Flash + Ignite. After both sides hit level 2, a skirmish broke out. It was obvious PNG lost the trade, and their retreat didn’t go smoothly either. Zou Jiayou’s mastery of the Explorer was extremely high—he forced Cheng Su to step in front of the low-health Lin Zhaoxu, then landed a pinpoint Q at max range to secure Cheng Su’s kill.
“An absolutely brilliant first blood—Liome’s Qs look like he’s got auto-aim installed!”
Qing Ci said admiringly, “Unlike most AD carries who need items to scale their attack speed and damage, the Explorer’s early damage mainly comes from his Q skill, which demands extremely high accuracy! In other words, as long as your skill shots are precise, this champion’s early-game damage is terrifying! In just ten seconds of trading, PNG’s bot duo was forced down to a sliver of HP. Nx followed up with a timely Ignite, reducing Mir’s Heal by 75% when he used it!!”
Commentator: “Erllit really had it rough there—if he hadn’t turned back, he could’ve escaped. But if he didn’t block, Mior would’ve missed at least a full wave after respawning, and the lane would’ve been unplayable. I’ve noticed there are quite a few strong laning bot duos domestically, but one as aggressive and oppressive as Liome and Nx really is one of a kind!”
[Not just domestically—world’s number one bot lane, you think they’re joking?]
[ Okay, that’s a bit over the top, but Liome really is the only true T0 laner. As long as he doesn’t randomly lose his mind in teamfights, he’s basically unbeatable…]
[Now we know why they let God Yue play the hyper-carry in teamfights—to clean up Liome’s mess, right (lol)]
[Single-carry comps really are hard to play—last game, the moment Liome died, the teamfight was instantly over]
[PNG’s bot lane is suffering now—they just can’t win straight up. Can the coach’s pep talk even save this?]
[ Doubt it. This is a raw skill gap—even ten bowls of chicken soup won’t fix it. Better to play safe and wait for teammates to carry]
“Bot lane, don’t push for now. I’ll look for a chance to come down.”
Sui Ning spoke up quickly, “Try not to trade with them.”
“Got it, no trading.” Lin Zhaoxu responded, then added helplessly, “Even if we wanted to, we can’t win. Explorer plus Shadow Hawk has insane level 2 burst. He keeps chasing me with Q—I hit him once and it’s only 45 damage, I can’t even proc my W passive…”
A T2 marksman paired with a T0 support was already this oppressive. If Zou Jiayou got one of his signature picks like Void Ranger, or if they secured the only T0 combo White Bird + Shadow Hawk, it would be even worse.
Lin Zhaoxu felt a headache coming on. He wanted to find a way to free up the team’s ban slots—otherwise they’d have to spend two bans every game just babysitting bot lane. But reality was telling him it wouldn’t be that simple.
And the more he worried, the more things seemed to go wrong. Perhaps that early first blood was some kind of ominous signal—both junglers began focusing more attention on the bot lane.
At 4:45, Pei Xingyi and Ji Yunyu, both level 4, arrived at the bot-side river almost simultaneously. But this 3v3 clearly favored Navic. They showed no intention of backing off and instead pressed forward step by step. Left with no choice, Sui Ning used TP to come protect his team.
Normally, when one side teleports to support, the opposing laner should follow immediately. But Meng Xiyue, who still had TP, remained calm and said lightly, “Wind has teleported bot. Be careful.”
He knew Sui Ning hadn’t hit level 6 yet—this support would be more about deterrence than real impact. Meng Xiyue didn’t follow rashly; instead, he saw it as an opportunity to widen his own economic lead. He trusted his teammates to handle bot lane.
“OK, watching.”
Bian Cheng said, “Drag out Wind’s time—don’t let him leave!”
“Liome, don’t wander—be careful of getting caught by his W + Flash stun. Don’t waste Purify!” Purify’s cooldown wasn’t short, and if Sui Ning’s level 6 hard-CC ultimate landed on Zou Jiayou, that spell would be his only lifeline.
“Got it.”
“Navic found a great opportunity here—they’re really strong right now! Truik has already spotted Cloud’s position but still wants to engage—!”
Qing Ci’s voice rose with excitement, but as the two teams disengaged on screen, his tone settled again. “—Wind has used TP, but Navic didn’t follow. Looks like this fight won’t happen. Nx is still trying to harass… ah, that’s a waste of time!”
“Wind, the ‘firefighter,’ is having a rough time now. He gave up his lane to support bot but got nothing out of it—that’s a huge hit to his tempo! But if he hadn’t come, bot lane would’ve completely exploded. PNG simply can’t win a 3v3 against Navic right now, and they’d just get kited and stalled out.”
Chao Mi nodded. “That’s right—and it has to be Wind. If it were Myerii teleporting instead, they’d just get beaten even harder, and they might even lose the top outer turret too. Mistake takes towers really fast… thinking about it, this is indeed a very hard game for Wind.”
Unfortunately, it was about to get even worse.
At 6:25—a common key timing—most mid laners with normal farm hit level 6.
Meng Xiyue calmly cleared the wave, pinged twice to signal he was on the way, and then teleported to bot lane—
Sui Ning had already realized what he was about to do, but without TP, he was already a step too late. Yuna was also powerless against Navic’s dive composition.
Meng Xiyue didn’t even need to deal damage—he just had to use [R: Bone Enclosure] to push PNG’s bot duo out from under their tower.
[Nv_Liome (Explorer) has slain PNG_Erllit (Radiant Goddess)!]
[Nv_Cpyhc (Soulreaper King) has slain PNG_Mior (Soul-Piercing Spear)!]
[PNG_Wind (Winter Queen) has slain Nv_Nx (Shadow Hawk)!]
By the time Sui Ning arrived, he only managed to leave Bian Cheng at low health—but it did nothing to stop bot lane’s collapse.
“This is the result of Navic’s macro play.”
Seeing this, Qing Ci couldn’t help but sigh, “They played the timing difference perfectly. Wind’s Teleport is still on cooldown, which actually lets the immobile Soulreaper King arrive faster for support! PNG are better at proactively setting the pace, but in situations like this where they’re constantly putting out fires, they don’t seem able to handle it easily!”
Chao Mi thought for a moment and said, “Bot lane collapsed a bit too early this game. Should they consider giving up the outer turret? Let the marksman farm for a while and group up early around the 10-minute mark?”
—That wasn’t really an option. The bot outer turret is almost equivalent to the entire lower jungle. Losing it means losing most of the vision in that area, the dragon, and control over map resources.
At the very least, PNG had to find a way to defend it before 10 minutes.
This time, they even called over Wei Ye as backup. The veteran top-lane treant had been off-screen with his opponent for ages, and finally made a grand entrance into the 11-minute “mahjong game” in bot lane.
The moment both bot lanes locked eyes, two junglers burst out from the side brushes, and teleport beams lit up across the minion wave. Within four seconds, a 2v2 turned into a full 5v5.
The commentator nearly laughed himself hoarse. “Oh my god!! Liome just stepped forward and auto-attacked Mior once, and PNG instantly lit up two TPs!! Navic might be stunned—Truik clearly hesitated coming out of the brush, I think he’s questioning his life choices!! But it’s okay, your teammates are just as fast—Navic’s TP is only about half a second slower!!”
“Isn’t this supposed to be a duo lane? Why are there suddenly ten people here?!”
[LOL hahahaha—]
[Help, it’s supposed to be a tense teamfight but I can’t stop laughing]
[When Truik came out of the brush and suddenly saw two TPs appear on both sides, he got surrounded instantly haha. He was probably like: Was that really necessary, guys?]
[So this is pro-level support speed! (leans back)]
[A legendary moment—every top/mid/jungle player with slow rotations should watch this]
[People used to tell me sidelanes are all about relationships—I didn’t believe it until I saw this]
After landing, neither side showed any intention of backing off.
Meng Xiyue positioned himself safely and dealt damage from afar. PNG wanted to engage on him but couldn’t get close.
Fortunately, Wei Ye’s items were decent. Tanking heavy damage, he temporarily forced back Zou Jiayou and Pei Xingyi, and together with his mid and jungle secured a kill. But Jiang Yin, who had also joined the fight as a warrior, was clearly more threatening—he flashed in with his ultimate and, with two close-range strikes, nearly killed PNG’s immobile, squishy marksman, leaving him no chance even to cry for help.
[PNG_Wind (Winter Queen) has slain Nv_Truik (Phantom Assassin)!]
[Nv_Cpyhc (Soulreaper King) has slain PNG_Erllit (Radiant Goddess)!]
[Nv_Cpyhc (Soulreaper King) has slain PNG_Mior (Soul-Piercing Spear)!]
[Double Kill!]
[Nv_Cpyhc (Soulreaper King) is on a Killing Spree!]
The commentator sucked in a breath. “Jeez—this bot duo is as fragile as paper! They just evaporated!”
“Navic’s damage is kind of unbelievable right now. God Yue at this timing is really hard to deal with. Normally, the Soulreaper King wouldn’t have this much damage at just over ten minutes! And his positioning is excellent—he’s constantly summoning bone soldiers!”
Even Lin Zhaoxu, watching from the fountain, couldn’t understand it, frowning deeply. “Why is his damage so high?!”
“How many items does he even have at this point?”
“Every time he uses Q to move his bone soldiers, he positions them so they pass through exactly four enemy units. That way, on the next contact, they trigger the passive that reduces both resistances,” Sui Ning explained quickly, then added, “…basic mechanics for the Soulreaper King.”
“?”
“?”
Lin Zhaoxu went silent, then said dryly, “So it’s ‘basic mechanics’ that only you two understand, huh? That’s hilarious.”
Just hearing about that level of precision made one’s scalp tingle—let alone executing it in a chaotic real match.
Regardless, this teamfight fed Navic’s main carry heavily. PNG took a massive loss.
And by 20 minutes, PNG faced a crushing teamfight defeat they simply couldn’t recover from.
Even with a 4/0 scoreline, Sui Ning tried everything but couldn’t stop the collapse. Meng Xiyue, already ahead, had farmed out the entire jungle economy. With three completed items, he was unstoppable—his bone soldiers only needed to wade into the fight and swing a few times to make PNG howl in pain. At this point, no one had built magic resistance yet.
Zou Jiayou had also already handed over the role of primary carry in teamfights. The Explorer now functioned more as poke, harassment, and cleanup.
One controlled health bars and burst damage; the other cleaned up the remnants. They wiped PNG in a 1-for-4 trade and secured Baron right after.
At this point, PNG was down nearly 6,500 gold—and upon respawning, they still had to face a Baron-buffed Navic pushing with two lanes of super minions.
“…Yeah, I think a comeback is pretty unlikely,” Qing Ci analyzed calmly. “This game mainly fell apart because the early tempo collapsed too quickly. Or rather, PNG didn’t even get the chance to establish their tempo before the bottom side completely fell apart.”
Chao Mi sighed. “That key timing play from Navic had a real ‘lure the tiger away from the mountain’ feel. It’s such a pity Wind didn’t have TP—if he had, maybe they could’ve fought it, and the outcome might’ve been different! And Navic’s execution is incredibly decisive—they fight the moment they see an opportunity, never hesitate, never drag things out. Completely different from the previous game! This is what a world-class team should look like!”
“Haha, I guess it might also have something to do with the return of their veteran captain. After all, the captain is the soul of the team!”
After saying that, Qing Ci put away his smile and shifted tone. “Of course, PNG fans don’t need to worry too much—I believe they can adjust.”
Unfortunately, several stubborn defenses on the high ground failed to turn things around.
At 27:19, PNG’s base shattered, and Navic successfully tied the series 1–1.
